Gaza City – June 5, 2025 – The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement strongly denied recent allegations suggesting Israel is providing support or arms to Palestinian factions in Gaza, labelling these claims as baseless fabrications intended to divide resistance groups and undermine the Palestinian cause.
Mujahideen Movement issued a statement on May 24 condemning international silence regarding Israel’s ongoing blockade and starvation policies in Gaza, particularly with regard to aid mechanisms coordinated by Israeli and American companies viewed as extensions of their strategy to humiliate Palestinian people and break their will.
Mujahideen Movement emerged after a split from Fatah in the early 2000s, operating both politically and militarily through their Mujahideen Brigades. Since their formation they have actively engaged in resistance operations against Israeli forces across Gaza and West Bank – as documented on Wikipedia (+1).

The leadership of the movement has suffered losses during the current conflict. On November 2023, Israeli airstrikes targeted several homes belonging to movement leaders resulting in the deaths of several family members including Asaad Abu Sharia’s wife and children – leading him to step down as Secretary-General as well.
Mujahideen Movement’s recent statements demonstrate its dedication to resisting Israeli occupation, rejecting any narratives which attempt to portray Palestinian resistance groups as collaborators of Israel, and continuing its advocacy efforts on behalf of Palestinian rights and an end to Gaza blockades.
